Brothers Mike and Chade first fell in love with Poke’ on their trips to Hawaii. Their wives, Sandra and Daysi, coming from South America, then introduced them to a unique type of ceviche while vacationing in Peru; Cebicheria Peruano as they called it. There are many variations of this “national dish” found throughout the country of Peru. Influenced by renowned Chefs Javier Wong and Gaston Acurio, the brothers had a vision. It was apparent that this cuisine would be an extraordinary dining option. Especially, if presented to a broader audience, in a fast casual setting. The development team was addicted to Poke’ and Ceviche! Determined to satisfy peoples pallet, the recipes were created. The quest for perfection was complete with the right culinary team. As the saying goes “The rest is history.” POKE-RIA Sushi & Ceviche Bowls goes from conception to completion. With multiple locations throughout Orange County California, the company plans to eventually become a nationally recognized brand.

Traditionally Poke is made from cuts of tuna or octopus, but with the growing demand for this popular Hawaiian dish chefs have become increasingly creative by including all types of seafood from Salmon and Shrimp to even Yellowtail.
Ceviche is a seafood dish popular in the coastal regions of Latin America. Typically made from fresh raw fish cured in citrus juices.
This dish is so deep-rooted into Peruvian culture that it has been acknowledged as part of the “national heritage” and even has a holiday declared in its honor.
